Core Privacy Guarantee: DocuAssist AI operates on a strict zero-retention foundation model agreement. Customer documents and vector embeddings are stored in dedicated encrypted Google Cloud Storage and AWS S3 buckets and are NEVER used to train or fine-tune public artificial intelligence models (including Google Vertex AI Gemini or AWS Bedrock).
1. About DocuAssist AI Technologies
This Privacy Policy applies to DocuAssist AI Technologies ("DocuAssist AI", "we", "our", or "us"), operating the platform available at https://docuassistai.online.
We collect information strictly necessary to provide document parsing, semantic indexing, and conversational retrieval services:
Account & Inquiries: Contact information such as your name, corporate email address, and organization name when registering for API keys, sandboxes, or custom tiers.
Uploaded Document Content: User-supplied documentation (PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, URL sitemaps) uploaded strictly to generate vector embeddings for your dedicated customer assistance instances.
Operational Telemetry: Anonymized query latency, token counts, and API response status codes monitored through Google Cloud Monitoring and AWS CloudWatch for service reliability.
3. Cloud Infrastructure & Security Standards
DocuAssist AI is architected natively across Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services:
At-Rest Encryption: All files uploaded to Google Cloud Storage and Amazon S3 are encrypted with AES-256 and customer-managed KMS keys.
In-Transit Encryption: All communication between user web browsers, embeddable widgets, and our microservices on Google Cloud Run and AWS ECS is enforced via TLS 1.3 / SSL.
Per-Tenant Isolation: Vector embeddings in Google Cloud SQL (pgvector) and Amazon Aurora are isolated with strict Row-Level Security (RLS) and namespace access controls.
4. Data Retention & Permanent Deletion
Customers retain full ownership of their data. When you delete a document or delete your account, all associated raw files and high-dimensional vector embeddings are permanently purged across all cloud regions within 24 hours.
5. Compliance with Global Regulations
DocuAssist AI complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Under these frameworks, users hold the right to access, rectify, export, or delete any personal information held by our systems.
